nope, it will not protect you just yet (maybe when an sxos stable version comes out)... i tested this out using the pokemon brick nsp and even though i installed it in the sd emunand it still bricked my whole system... you can try it out yourself.

just please have a nand bakup ready

how's this even possible ? if the brick payload should write anything, it should be write to the emunand, your sysnand should be safe , can anyone confirm or explain this ?

If you got it to launch and it worked, the smash NSP was fine. Cancelling installations sounds like a bad idea though.
One issue with RCM is the battery drains quickly while in it.p and charges very slowly. Leave it charging for 6 hours and try again.

SWEET! Gives me a little peace of mind as I'm prepping my 2nd switch for smash while I fix the other one. Much love guys

works great on me almost ran through whole game no bricks or nothing or time bombs..
havent tried a eevee version yet.. anyone have a eevee version to confirm working without bombs or problems?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I’m sure if the bricks were legit then more people would be posting about it in the same manner as the Pokemon bricks, I’m going to sit it out until a scene relase appears :)

one i posted works confirmed!, no bricks or nothing, got 5 badges no problems! :D
just need eevee one now

No brick yet. I was tinkering with a few files on my SD Card and for some reason Smash became unplayable.

Got scared & deleted the Smash software.

Reinstalled ReiNX, tinfoil, and then the Smash nsp, & everything went back to normal

whats the hash on this one?..
and was it .nsp file type?
or .xci file type?..
these hashes i checked, unless i'm doing something wrong,
i couldn't get these ones to boot with tinfoil.. :

25E8328F47D3A1EBFE5A4197814D9B62 <----- nsp type -(this one have been reportedly been safe)
8d9080b0efabd59ef6a96b888f67dadc <------ xci type --(this one don't know yet)

I kinda have no idea how to check for hashes (how did you find yours?). It was definitely an .nsp tho, got it from this one zoo with a soft cobra in it about a week ago
