the source for Snes9x 005 is out, but i dont know how to code for the wii, and this release has tons of new features.

That's beta source code. Once the final code is out, you can get a compiled version too from that site.

i tried to compile it. i get a lot of warnings and it stops when it try to compile dvd.cpp

gba emu with dvd loading would be great! nes not so much, i have all of the games for the nes on my sd card (excluding the ones from japan and the pirate games) and its only 175mbs

yeah, but that 175mb could be used for stuff like quake and monkey island 3 and other big games like that ;-) monkey island 3 with movies is almost 800mb

*dreams away* hmmm scummvm with dvd support, wouldn't that be great! and a lot faster too!!!

Since there is dvd.cpp and it needs di/di.h and it's calls.

Thats because you didnt zip it up.

I have 731 NES Roms zipped on my SD card, and it only takes 70 MB of space. The emulator automatically unzips it.

A Bug i found:

When loading Certain roms, they appear stretched or 'Zoomed'
To fix, load up the menu. Then go back to the game, it should appear as normal.

Also, could someone please test DVD and Network Please. I just would like to see the results. Thanks.

there is no network menu or load from dvd option, but mouse and super scope work great!

There IS an option of DVD or Network. But for network make sure you edit your config file first! Its changed in this release to snes9xgx.xml.

For network or DVD:

Go to Preferences>> Load Method then change it from auto to DVD or Network.

i've edited snes9xgx.xml and made an account on my pc (winxp), but it just won't connect...
can anyone make a tutorial, please....?
