Okay sounds good. Im assuming you can have more than one code.bin inside the code_sections folderFind a fresh code.bin, patch it for the no outlines patch, then patch it for SaltySD and it should work.

Yes, 1 for Sun and 1 for Moon, and possibly 1 for the Smash 4 version of SaltySD.Okay sounds good. Im assuming you can have more than one code.bin inside the code_sections folder
You have to dump the update and patch the code.bin from it.When pokemon sun and moon updates, do I have to redump the game again?
Yes but only the update not the full gameSo I do have to redump it
So I do have to redump it
Nowhere in my post does it say to dump the game again. It says dump the update. You have to dump the update and patch the code.bin from it.
Find the title ID of the update using FBI's Titles option. Open Decrypt9 on boot (set it up like you would with your other luma payloads). Go to Content Decryptor Options -> CIA Builder Options -> CIA Builder (SysNAND/decr.). Use the arrow keys to find the title ID that matches the title ID of the update. Once you do that, hit A to let it dump it to a CIA.I just made a dumb assumption. My bad, but how do I dump the update?
No, you're not supposed to patch the code.bin that's inside of your luma folder. You are supposed to patch the update's code.bin. You have to extract the update.Okay. I followed your instructions and I dumped the update and I patched the code.bin that's already inside my luma folder and it gets stuck at the Nintendo 3Ds screen after I select Pokemon Moon. Is there something I did wrong?
Thanks for uploading this! Here are the QR+No Outlines IPS patches for use with LunarIPS. You can use them before or after patching with SaltySD, or you can just use them on your dumped code.bin from v1.1 of Pokemon SuMo with LunarIPS. They work on top of @KunoichiZ SaltySD patches. Figured I'd help the people who can't (won't?) create the patches themselves.
You don't decompress it, you decrypt it. Make sure you run it through Decrypt9. Here's how to make sure it is decrypted: Open Decrypt9 -> Content Decryptor Options -> CIA File Options -> CIA Decryptor (deep)Okay, so I decompressed the CIA file and the folder that was created was empty. I'm trying to see if I missed something
No, you're not supposed to patch the code.bin that's inside of your luma folder. You are supposed to patch the update's code.bin. You have to extract the update.
1. Downlpad Asia81's HackingToolkit3DS, extract it, then run SetupUS.exe and let it install.
2. Put the CIA for the update in the same folder as HackingToolkit3DS.exe
3. Open HackingToolkit3DS.exe and type ME to extract the contents of the CIA. It will ask you if you want to decompress the code.bin. Type 1 to decompress it.
4. You will see a folder called <name of CIA>.cia_Unpacked. Open that folder, open the ExtractedExeFS folder, and you'll find the code.bin. Keep that code.bin where it is, but make a copy of it onto your Desktop or something for now.
5. Download LunarIPS and extract it.
6. Download and extract the IPS patches I uploaded here (I didn't get the chance to upload the no outlines patch so you're stuck with outlines for now) to your LunarIPS folder.
8. Move your copy of code.bin to your LunarIPS folder.
9. Open LunarIPS and click Apply a Patch. Follow the open dialog boxes to patch your code.bin with the IPS patch that matches your game.
10. Move that code.bin file to your luma/code_sections folder and rename it to match the title ID of the game. Do NOT use the title ID of the update.
11. Try opening the game.
Download it from v5.5 thenI do not see such file.. I download .zip from github saito and is not including?
oh yes I make 1 more google search and found correct .zipDownload it from v5.5 then
Thats what I did first. I used CIA Btuilder SysNAND to decrypt the update. But when I decompress it with HackingToolKit, I get an empty folder. You don't decompress it, you decrypt it. Make sure you run it through Decrypt9. Here's how to make sure it is decrypted: Open Decrypt9 -> Content Decryptor Options -> CIA File Options -> CIA Decryptor (deep)
