I believe thet we'll have a software hack...

I'm pretty sure that sony knows the fact that nintendo's game carts sales suffer from flash cards.....
So they must have taken protection about that...

I predict another softmodded handheld. The more it can do besides games, the more possibilities for hacking. Since the DS phat/lite only played game cartridges, they had to be hacked through game cartridges. If the NGP can look at photos in any format, that's an extra possibility. If it can play multiple music formats, another possibility. Videos, PDFs, etc etc etc.

But so long as they leave it open in all the right ways, it won't have hackers. (See what once was PS3's OtherOS)

I'd personally want a softmod rather than a flashcart....but I think Sony will learn from their mistakes with the PSP and PS3....I hope
I agree... on the whole I prefer softmodding though I'm not entirely sure why.

Maybe because softmodding means you don't have to keep a particular device in at all times, or in some cases, have to buy a specialised device at all? Though I had to buy a pandora battery for my PSP, I like the fact it was modded that way rather than having to buy a dedicated device that I had to keep in.

This.
It'd rather not pay, and it's too much trouble buying and managing flashcarts when instead the system itself could be the flashcart.
