GBA is actually still quite active, as a community, and draws in a different, maybe younger, crowd. When reading through the merged older subforums, this becomes obvious quickly.
You are at a risk burying all content that is not "Flashcards and Pokemon" imho.
Also its hard to switch between as many systems, if you are in a "lets help others out" mood, just conceptually - so I predict, much less engagement of people just generally helping out others in that subforum over time.
Bunching the older systems together might be an ok move, but please at least split it once more and separate mobile from non mobile systems.
Theres a similar issue with PC hardware and software and games. Maybe thats more palpable over time, but again, you are at risk of drowning out support sections with PC games talk. This may be less urgent dont know - but the "older systems" forum to me currently is unparsable.
