Hacking Strange Error on Luma

Someone help me out here.
Fire Emblem Fates does not seem to like custom firmware. I wouldn't have much of a problem with random crashing with alot of games, but Fire Emblem is really not the game that should be randomly crashing. Here's what sometimes randomly pops up at the bottom screen mid-chapter:

An error occurred (ErrDisp)

Error Type: generic

Process ID: 39

Error Code: 0xc960454b

I wouldn't be taking it here, but it keeps happening, and I can't beat this chapter because the DS keeps crashing. And yes, I tried overclocking and changing a few of the config options in Luma Configuration Menu

I don't expect a solution, but one would be lovely.

By the way, I forgot to mention. The DS does not pull up this menu of Awakening or Echoes, which run on the same engine. Only Fates.

Alright, I admit that made me laugh. I just like the gameplay and some of the characters. All the GBA, NES ans SNES ones work fine, but I play those on emulator because they are so slow on console. By that I mean I don't get a speed button.
Just for the record though, I have beaten all the GBA games and Gaiden. But considering I went all the way through Gaiden, maybe I don't have good taste in FE games. XD
