Homebrew Strange file called USBCÓZñë. in Gm9 out folder

I tried to convert New Yoshi's Island, but after i loaded the 3ds file into the out folder it turned into a file called USBCÓZñë which is 2,21gb and i cannot delete it! Can anybody help me?

Sounds like a corrupted file.
Worst case, your SD is dying and slowly corrupting.

I would back up everything from the SD that's important to you right now.
Format the SD or test a different one and copy everything except that file back.

On another laptop i could delete it. But i still have a feeling it ain't right.

Definitely a sign of corruption. Back up as much as you can from the card ASAP, do a full format (not quick) and restore the files.

I personally wouldn't trust the SD card anymore, once it corrupts, it'll keep on corrupting.

...I can confirm the above statement. Once a card starts dying, it's a pain to fix.

RIP 32gb microSD, you will be missed.


In the future, use a reliable card reader and avoid just taking the card out without dismounting it first. And use a reliable card reader.

Eventually i was able to delete the file on my other computer. But yesterday i dropped it causing the top screen to break.

the top screen broke off on my old 3ds
