The cable was not soldered correctly so I just pulled it without enough heat, and pulled the pad with it, switch OLED doesn't turn on , just black screen , what to do ?
Thank you so much , ididn't realize it connected those points , I'm having a professional finish it tomorrow and wanted to know what to tell him , by GND you mean the outer light-green area? , how can I check with the meter if it's touching GND ?If I'm seeing correctly, you should connect it like that:View attachment 318830
Just make sure RST is not connected to GND.
Yes, GND is the outer green area. You can apply one multimeter probe to the small solder ball nearby copper triangle and the other to the copper triangle and measure the resistance between them.Thank you so much , ididn't realize it connected those points , I'm having a professional finish it tomorrow and wanted to know what to tell him , by GND you mean the outer light-green area? , how can I check with the meter if it's touching GND ?
Oh i think i get it now, so if resistance is low like 0, then it's basically touching?, so it should be high ? how much would you expect it to be? like the dat 0 to GND .500 to-.900 ? Thank you manYes, GND is the outer green area. I'm not sure what the exact value should be, but it should be fine if it's not close to 0.Oh i think i get it now, so if resistance is low like 0, then it's basically touching?, so it should be high ? how much would you expect it to be? like the dat 0 to GND .500 to-.900 ? Thank you man
I informed the tech doing the repair what you told me and sent him the picture you kindly provided, thank you very much.I'm not sure what the exact value should be, but it should be fine if it's not close to 0.
