Homebrew Super Mario 64 DS freezing issue

Whenever I get certain stars, the game freezes. Is it a bad dump? I tried to download the redump patch thing and it still froze.

youre running a patched version of the game?? what flashcard/firmware are you using? or emulator

Had gotten the 1.1 version of the game and patched it with the redump.

you may want to try running the clean version of the game. i can tell you now that i played through the game 100% on a lower firmware, and ive played it since updating to the most recent firmware and there are no freezes
