Hacking Switch an Emunand to another 3DS device, possible?

Hi guys,

My friend just bought another 3DS device and he's asking me to downgrade it and install a CFW. I've done this in his previous OLD3DS (small screen), but now he has an OLD3DS XL version. I'm wondering if is there a way to use the same Emunand in his new device, so I would just need to downgrade the 3DS.

No, NANDs are encrypted per device and cannot be transferred.

you can do a system transfer? I'm not sure what is in included with that transfer though.
