Even though Eurogamer is reliable, this seems really unrealistic to me.

Why is it clocked lower than a normal X1?

Why does it have a fan running in the handheld when the chip is weaker than a X1, which can be passively cooled?

"The high-efficiency scalable processor includes an NVIDIA GPU based on the same architecture as the world’s top-performing GeForce gaming graphics cards."
This sounds like 16nm Pascal. Calling a 20nm chip "high-efficiency" is kinda wrong nowadays.

What do you think?

Clock speeds don't look right... There can't be THAT drastic of a change. Especially if this is not only a home console, but a portable one too.

I read it from other site recently today also. Do not believe anything. I don't trust the darning rumours. I am sick and tired of rumours about it. Wait for Nintendo to give a fact and true information after January 2017. Please stop read the rumours. SIGHING!

Same - I won't believe anything about the specs until Nvidia or Nintendo say something.

How does Eurogamer get all these supposed news about Nintendo stuff? Recently before this was the whole Sun/Moon followup exclusive to the Switch, reported the day of the launch of the two games. Either they are super well connected or are just not accurate, or are just plain liars.

This looks like one person reporting it to a friend. Or possibly two people guestimating on the two different clock speeds, and eurogamer just merged them together. I think I'll take all this talk with a grain of salt.

It runs the new zelda game on mobile with no stuttering. Its visuals look the same as Wii U, possibly better. So as an upgrade to the 3ds, this thing is going to be awesome. That's how I choose to perceive it.

thats why i don't believe that, something less powerfull than a WiiU doing a better work than the WiiU in handled can't be right.

Yeah I'd say that's probably the biggest red flag there that this rumor doesn't make much sense. Now, would I be surprised if the Switch was ultimately very underpowered in some way? No, not at all knowing Nintendo, but this particular aspect just seems inaccurate based on what little we've already seen of a real unit in action.

i don't think so, just wait till the specs comes for nintendo switch guys, don't believe everything, even if it posted by a trusted website or guy

Precisely! I hope those people here stop say anything that they believe in. Just don't! Just wait until January 12 from Nintendo themselves.

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
