In order to use CaptureSight, I need to go from the game to the homebrew menu in the album. Unfortunately, my switch crashes when trying to do that and I have to reboot it. Could anyone please help? Included is a screenshot of the root of my SD card.

1) Make sure your HBL is up to date
2) Make sure you don't have too many sysmodules taking up memory

Remove all sys-modules, and then re-add them 1 by 1 to know which one causes the issue. Also remove any themes if you have any. I had this problem long ago when updated to higher fw and found out Freebird was causing it. Also make sure everything is updated as well.

Stupid question, but where can I find the sys-modules?

Uhm, atmosphere/contents (or for older atmos ver it's atmosphere/titles)... But if you have any kips, i recommend you removing them as well (under atmosphere/kips). You could also just get a fresh atmos and move the contents from there (completely replacing your contents folder) and then add you stuff 1 by 1... What sys-modules do you have atm?

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and nope the number still doesnt change
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
ok im gonna make my own asset
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
