I had the exact same issue, copy all your files to your computer and reformat it using a different program. I used easus partition manager (I believe that’s the name or close to it) and reformat it to fat32 and choose 32k cluster if you can. If there’s no option then just try the default and recopy everything over. This worked for me, hope it helps you.

Hi --

I'm having the same issue actually. I've read a lot of conflicting information on it, and have been unable to resolve.

I'm running a 5.0.2 Switch
Using a Macbook Pro
Using a SanDisk Ultra 64GB Micro SD

Card was originally formatted as ExFat, then I reformatted it to MS-DOS (FAT32). HBMenu v2.0.0 loads up like above, but it won't register any .nro files or folder.

I've read that it should be formatted as follows:

root > switch (folder) > .nro files (or nro folder > .nro file)

Any advice or help? Looking for a solution. Thanks!

Quick question ... I have about 30 games on my 64GB if I copy the Nintendo folder with all the games ..reformat the card to fat32 and drag the Nintendo folder back ..will the switch play them, or will it ask me to redownload all my games again?

It will work just give the fat32 partition a cluster size of 32kb

I read somewhere it doesnt like folders created on a mac
That’s right I had the same issue but fixed it (exfat here).

I just put FTPd.nro to the root of my sd card and could launch it from HB loader (by browser to /)

From there I created a switch folder via ftp and uploaded the AppStore app.

Now everything is fine but for some reason if I copy from my Mac folders are appearing as 0 bytes files according to ftpd list.

Hi guys--

Follow up post. I re-created all the folders on a windows machine on my desktop, formatted the SD card to EXFAT with an allocation unit size of 128 kilobytes, then transferred the files over to the card. Worked fine -- hbmenu is reading what's on the card now.

So it seems creating folders on Mac is definitely an issue...
