Japan is the worst place to buy Switches from. They are constantly out of stock, so it is to be expected that the Switches there ship with the latest firmware.

4000100 can't possibly be above 2.3
The 0009 I found yesterday was 2.2.0 so no way this is not a launch day console...

Judging from the serial it is one of the early units and should be running 1.0.0.
My guess is someone before you bought it, updated it to 3.0.1 and then returned it.

I guess you bought an used or refurbed one then... XAJ40 0010 (space is intended) is a really old one. No way that it comes above 1.0.0 when all others up to 0085 are 1.0.0 consoles. and 0122 are 2.3.0

Most save bundles should be Splatoon 2. I only know of Splatoon 2 and Mario of which Mario is a guaranteed 3.0.1 and Splatton could be anything from 2.3 (i guess) up.

The box has a sticker on It. It puts Was a switch arrived to the shop on october 23. 3.0.1 Was on june so.. i didnt discard It came on It.
The shop sells new switch And the box Was on the store window Closed so.. :/
