Anyone notice they replace the USB port to micro usb? The usb-c should be round bezel on the end, and micro usb is curved outside on the top end of the port.

actually the easiest way to tell is the 2 holes , on the type C they are all the way toward the back but on the micro USB they are middle to front orientatedNo way I’m right, it can’t fool my eye, try googling the usb type-c female port, it’s supposed to be all round bezel to the end, the micro-USB have curved to the end.

thats correct it doesnt replace it , is for update if wireless fails somehowTo clarify in case anyone is confused reading through this - I don't think the micro usb replaces the usb-c. It's as analogue man said, probably used for updating the chip or something and you can plug it in as needed or it can get tucked somewhere under the cover maybe.
What I actually don't know how it is possible is people receiving their test units but not getting instructions of how to install it.
I understand that with the COVID situation the delivery times are slower than usual (even so, some units already arrived their destinations) but what's the point on trying to "wait" for most units to arrive if the whole purpose is to test the product? Seems like a vague excuse to me tbh.
I'll grab one of these once I see how difficult the installation is since I'm not exactly well versed with the soldering matter. Might pay someone to do it for my if I see the slightest chance to mess things up lol
