Looks like they made a fan translation for tales of innocence, is it safe to use?

Sorry for the noob question xD.

Anyway, is this game any good?

And IMO the game is brilliant; though I'm a Tales freak so I'm a bit on the biased side

I just asked because i found one at FileTrip.net but it wasnt the 100% one... and then bumped into this one... just asking if its legit and safe to use, and also if the games is good xD

im getting games to play on my 15 day vacation... gotta do something between lunch and beach... xD

I know what you mean, I have a long bus ride to Chicago at the end of the month and I need me some games to fill in the 8 hr ride and then some.

I found it to be somewhat interesting but I never made too much progress. The dream world alter ego was sort of an interesting storyline element though.

I made it to the end of the game, but was under leveled against a boss in an area where going back would have been no easy task (tough monsters were freaking tough). I have to play through again at some point.

The patch is perfect though. Remember to change the ability names to English (otherwise they stay in the Japanese written with English letters deal [I forgot the official name...katakana?]) in the options if you are more familiar with the localized names of moves from previous Tales games (as they remain largely the same). It took me until nearly the end of the game to realize that. :3

It actually defaults to the localized setting, so you must have changed it early on.

The story gains momentum near the end, though you should be in a Tales mood before starting in on it. It isn't the most spectacular Tales game by far, but it is worth a play through. The translation is top notch (and hits everything), so there are no worries there.

I'm with you there, it's a really good game and I'm enjoying it right now, I'm nearing the end. And the team even made some additions to the game, they improved something in the menus, so that's another plus.
