The other day I told my wife, Let's take a trip. So I hung up a map on the wall, and said throw this dart somewhere on the map, and we will visit there. She lined up her shot and threw the dart, but it fell way short of the wall, and fell into a trash can on the floor below. So I said "Florida it is then, I'll go pack."

What is everyone's obsession with piling on FL all the time, is it petty jelousy about the weather? (my theory)
The weather is miserable and hot/humid all the damn time and thats probably why some of the people can be..interesting.

I'm originally from FL and can tell you I've been to some other states and some are better of course but many are much, much worse. I still don't recommend it due to the relentless and oppressing hot weather, but its not a bad place to live if you like it hot & some like it hot.

My other theory is that FL is maybe like the "red-headed step child" who can't do a damn thing right due to confirmation bias regarding every crazy news story. Though all states have these type of things happening, they just aren't reported on as much because crazy FL news is click-bait.
