Homebrew TanksDS (WIP) (DS Entry)

TanksDS

Hi I have been working on a new game for quite some time.
It is inspired by games like Tank Wars, Pocket Tanks and Death Tanks.

Features:
* Blast your friends or foes into pieces
* Play via LAN and/or internet. Internet games are registered on a server list. (no ip sharing necessary)
* Kill enemies to earn money and buy new weapons

Version 0.1 is ready. It works pretty well for two players but i haven't been able to test it for more players.
There are still many things that i wish to implement/improve. Please report any errors you might find. I will try to fix them as soon as possible, but i am very busy with school at the moment.

Controls:

Spoiler

Left / Right - turn cannon.
Up / Down - adjust power.
L / R - drive.
A - shoot.
B - hold B and push left/right to change weapon.

How to host online:

You need to setup port forwarding for the port you choose in the host menu.
If you don't know what this means or how to do it, check out http://portforward.com/.

Things that i would like to include in the next version:

* UPNP support (automatic portforwarding).
* Wifi options. Access point discovery + setup.
* Improved error reporting.
* Bots.

Bugs:

* If you join a game in progress, the level might not be rendered during the first round.
* Tank physics sometimes bugs.
* Sometimes stats (scores,cash,kills,deaths) bugs.

To try the game without having a mate to play with you can:

- Create a server.
- When on the "Waiting for players" screen hold select and press "Done".
- Game starts, but it ends as soon as 1 shell hits the ground.

I would like to add bots, but I don't plan on making an entire single player / campaign mode.
