MERRY TEMPMAS EVERYONE!
It's that time of the year again!

We are excited to begin our 2016 tempmas competition! This year we've got an amazing prize for you: a brand new Nintendo Switch console up for grabs! Of course we haven't got our hands on a console yet so it'll actually be a preorder, but still!

So what will you have to do to enter this year? The theme is wide and leaves a lot of room for imagination: Create a short Tempmas-themed video (up to 1 minute long)

Now please carefully read the rules below if you wish to enter:
Who can enter: any registered GBAtemp user, new or old. One entry per user. No geographical restrictions.
Enter before: the 31st at 12PM (noon) UTC
Video format restrictions: video must be up to 1 minute long. Shorter is OK. Longer will be rejected. How to enter: upload your video to YouTube, DailyMotion or Filetrip and post the link in this thread.
Content restrictions: no nudity, violence, pornography, anything illegal, or against regular forum rules.

There will be a public vote (only open to certain member groups though! if you register now just to vote it's already too). Make sure to log on to GBAtemp on the first week of January to cast your vote.

Now, use your imagination to come up with something that will put a smile on everyone's face! The video can be digitally edited, created from scratch on a computer, or simply recorded with a camera (ie. record yourself singing a Tempmas song... record yourself baking a Tempmas cake... etc.).

Have fun making your video and have a very merry Tempmas!

Here's my submission. I was planning on spending all of my free time from yesterday until the deadline to work on it, but life had other plans. So, I made it in a day. Could've been better, but I'm actually pretty happy with it. Merry Tempmas, everyone!

EDIT: Oh, and good luck!

Not an entry but thought I might as well spin off a version as I was sitting in front of the video editing machine anyway, it is a version of the GBA startup logo but saying tempmas instead.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
