Christmas Day is upon us, and with it the results of our Tempmas Card contest! The competition was fierce, but after much consideration the Tempmas Council of Elves and Father Tempmas finally came up with a list of winners:

The winners will now be contacted by our elves in regards to their prizes, congratulations to all of the participants, you've all been awarded 3 points to your Tempmas tally! Now, it's time to introduce a new event, generously sponsored by our Patron @NicoAICP who kindly provided Steam codes for a variety of Sonic video games - a treat for whole 11 lucky Tempters, in addition to 1 point towards the Tempmas tally! We were inspired by the selection of games on offer, as well as the recent releases of Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Team Sonic Racing, the latter of which we've reviewed in our Review Center, and we came up with a unique quiz. The rules are very simple - send in your answers via a PM titled "Tempmas Event 4" to our helpful @TempmasElf - sounds easy? Now, here's the catch! We'll be going through the responses in order, so the faster you are the better! 11 lucky winners will get to choose one of these Steam games each:

There's only one code available for each game, so if your eyes are set on a specific title, think fast! Ready? Set? Here's the questions:

2. Team Sonic Racing is the latest installment in the racing-themed sub-genre of Sonic games, but what was the first?
3. Being an athlete, it was fairly obvious that Sonic would want to compete in the Tokyo Olympic Games, but he's not the only speedy contestant dreaming of a gold medal - who are the other characters whose specific strength is speed (described in the game as "Runs Fast")? Your list doesn't have to include all of the unlockable Guest characters, just the main roster.
4. The plot of Team Sonic Racing revolves around a revolutionary new engine technology designed by Dodon Pa - what is the engine powered by?
5. We all know that Sonic can only unlock his true potential by collecting all of the Chaos Emeralds - there's 7 of them, but that wasn't always the case. How many Chaos Emeralds were originally featured in Sonic the Hedgehog?

We go through the answers in order, but sometimes we need to pause because the next user is currently offline and cannot pick a game until they're back online. Patience is a virtue, we go through answers diligently and as fast as we can.
