The Book of Boba Fett - Anyone actually enjoying it?

I really loved The Mandolorian and was looking forward to a series about one of my favourite characters from the original trilogy.

However, this is not even in the same league as far as quality goes. It's actually starting to destroy my fondness of Boba.

I don't think I can continue watching the show. Am I being too harsh or is it really as bad as I think?

Nothing felt right about it, starting with fact that Fett was fat, slow, and never wore his helmet. I enjoyed the old Dark Horse and "Legends" Tales about Fett so much more.

Well, episode 5 was a lot better than the whole series so far but there's a good reason for that..

After Mandalorian, this series looks very pale. I'm watching this series and I'm not very impressed with how well it was shot. I'm also not thrilled with the storyline. I don't know that book. But then again, I mostly read gay stories/novels. [ie. Brideshead Revisited - Evelyn Waugh, The Picture Of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde, The Dreyfus Affair - Peter Lefcourt]. But I also have the classics like: Moby Dick. and The Godfather [freightening book].

Then I shall look for [not sure of title] Of Gods N Generals.
