How will I launch Gateway mode exactly? I've just bought a Gateway and my 3DS is on 4.1 firmware.

If you don't want to replace the buttons which I don't blame you for, you could just email the gateway team and see if they could change the button. It shouldn't be that hard...

it's just in an empty open space, like outside at night or the backrooms, depending on the branch of the hypothetical you either feel unsafe, but you actually are safe, or you feel safe, but are unsafe, also you don't actually know the truth about your safety either way -
