You said you were too far away from the mic, but you could have increase the volume when mixing it in audacity.
Next episode will hopefully have a constant level from each participant. (if not by default, it can be corrected in post processing? not easy when both are talking at the same time I guess)
I usually never listened to podcast, because I'm not english speaking, and it's hard for foreigners to understand what people are saying without reading subtitles.
In previous podcast (wich weren't on youtube, just mp3 links) I already requested a transcript, but it never happened, so I never listened to them.
This time, on youtube, there's an automatic subtitle generator, which I must say is quite good !
there are very few mistakes but not very bad, we can understand what was said even with the wrong subtitle. The only issue is missing words from Chary due to voice volume.
I'm now a little more used to hearing english without subtitles, but peoples all have different accents, so it can still be difficult to catch all words.
You both had clear voice and no special accent I guess, so it was fine in this episode.

I don't have a mic, and I rarely speak english. I don't know how my frenchglish accent is, and I rarely maintain a subject that long when speaking.
wasn't it hard to keep talking all the time? no blank or weird moments, etc.
Maybe 1 hour is a little long, I stopped before the end. doing other things at the same time, and not reading subtitles made it more sporadic word recognition than really listening to what you said... sorry
