I'M LOVING THIS PROGRESS!!!Hello my fellow troopers it is the one and only Commander REX of the 501st and today i have some thing to tell you which comes from our favorite 3 jedi masters:

Our generals have informed me that the BF2 PRM or more commonly KNOWN as The Star Wars Battlefront 2 Portable Restoration MOD is very close to the V 1.0 PUBLIC stable release.
Current Progress is below!
The Star Wars BF2 Portable Restoration Mod Progress:
Main Menu and menu Map names have all been done and are at 100%
Loadscreen pictures are done 100%(remember Geonosis and Rhen-var wont have loadscreen pictures due to them crashing the game if they are added into our mod)
Loadscreen text has been edited and is done at 100%
Restored Maps:5/5 have been done!
Which include:
Coruscant=100%
Geonosis=100%
Rhen var=100%
Jabbas palace=100%
Utapu=100%
Hero Spawn Sound works on All maps and the side sound works on MOST maps but SOUND DOESNT WORK ON ANY MAPS AS A RESULT!
Deafult maps have ALL been edited and new modes have been added and they are 100% Complete AND TESTED on my real PSP GO.
New Hero units such as stormtooper luke have ALL been REINSERTED
New units such as Jetrooper Riflemen have ALL been REINSERTED
New monsters such as ACKLAY have ALL been REINSERTED
The Reinforcments have been increased on ALL MAPS
So there you go the MOD has been done 90% I'd say in regards to the V.1.0 release.
ALL that remains is MODDING AND REINSERTING SPACE and LAND vehicles which i will talk about later.
But im sure many of you will be thinking WHY are you finshed so QUICKLY?Well i tried and tried but the following things CANNOT be reinserted into the PSP version of SWBF2:
Only the default Space maps for the PSP work the REST are either impossible to enter or incomplete and unplayable so therefore the space maps have been left as they were BUT I personally modded the space maps UNITS wise and im going to add or mod space vehicles on those space maps.
We couldn't add in DLC heros since they don't exist on the PSP port.
Nor could we REPLACE the CHALLENGE and GALACTIC CONQUEST modes with the original CAMPAIGN missions HOWEVER the campaign missions ALL work and can be added to the MOD but doing so would mean VERY FEW land maps so therefore we AREN'T replacing them.
So that is why we are so close to the V.1.0 release.
Right about the land/space vehicles.I am going to try to get them done soon BUT i am NOT going to do them right away since i have RL problems starting tomorrow AND also i have DONE over 90% of this MOD in the two weeks since i announced its return which was all due to my dedication at getting it done ASAP.
I have spent ALOT of hours on this and i hope you guys enjoy it ALSO a BIG thanks to FURYTOMIC for keeping me updated with the happenings on this thread aswell as keeping you guys updated.I really i appreciate it!XD

is the final version close to release, i would love to know maybe an estimate of how much more longer we have to wait

will this mod have the zombies mode? i really want the zombies mode
Now I have 2 things to wait for in october. The battlefront 3 beta and this restoration mod. I really don't care how long it takes you guys to make the mod as long as you do make the mod. This is because most of the mods with potential on the moddb site were either discontinued or cancelled.
Any blood in the game? For some realism? That would be a nice feature to have in the game. Or improve textures so the graphics can look more better . I read the features of the game but i heard you guys are open to some suggestions so i just listed a few of mine
Yh that's going too far in regards to the psp since all files are in lvl and we arent speacilists in textures.
