I've played through half of the japanese version (if I completed it I wouldn't buy the US version,so I stopped), and it's one of the best FFs ever.

Final.Fantasy.XII.USA.PS2DVD.iNTERNAL-iND is what you'd be looking for. Gotta love those early PS2 releases

This game is seriously awesome, i played the JAP one but it took too long translating the words before every scene, so to read english is much easier for me!

You can manually control your entire party if you want to..

If the gambit system is setup correctly for your party then you dont have to worry about crap AI

Only about 3 hours into it but im liking it my brother was watching me he thinks it looks boring Although he did miss the first half hour of the game where quite a bit happens

Has anyone else noticed how freaking HARD the USA version is??

I played the JAP one and beat almost all the bosses easily, im only up to the first boss and its kicking my ass!

All i can say is after many MANY years of waiting I was happy to finally get my hands on this game. It plays great. Fantastic voice actors thus far. My nomination for game of the year over every game console.

Why do they have to use that f**** K everywhere ?
Why the word "magic" became "magicks" ? why why !!! it hurts my eyes ;__;
I really think I'm playing a childish l33t translated game ...
They ended as bad as french translations, that's why I hate my native language games ^^;


And the most important thing I REALLY dislike is : Why do they had to change the controler setting ????
All FF are using O button to do actions and X button to cancel but this one doesn't, even when Japanese version did use O button to validate and X to cancel.

FF XII Japanese is really great but the USA "early ?" version is bad u___u
They didn't even put an option to allow change of the controller setting

I can't hope of that things to change in one month until retail version, can i ?

I think it's not a beta, the game seems complete.
I will have to play like that and get used to it.

It's just too bad we can't change the controller setting like in FFX.

Although ionly played the demo of this i`m not too happy with it and for me nothing beats FF7. Square have tried and tried to beat it and it can`t be done .... Cant win dont try.

Firstly i think Final Fantasy VI was the best FF not VII, the only people that think FFVII was the best, are the ones that never played RPG games before FFVII and were about 15 years old and "omgz the grafix!" crowd back then wouldn't care if it was "Watch paint drying 2" as long as it had polygonal walls with raytraced paint sheen.

Secondly the reason why its called "Final" fantasy was because it was the final wish of the square designer who was going to quit making games after making "Final Fantasy" but instead it became a best-seller on the NES and was released in the USA to equally decent sales so therefore the designer decided to stick with the name "Final Fantasy" as a franchise.
