I'm legit curious to see what your collection looks like someday. I thought I bought so much stuff, but you're beating me really hard on that!
I really need to organise my stuff lol. I'm sure there is some cool stuff there, but things are upheaved at the moment with me moving soon. Enjoy a picture of my shelf I guess, it's where most of my Harvest Moons are currently being stored.

Once I've moved I'll try to get something nicer together :P

My mother is a caretaker for this rich guy. He asked her to help him sell some of his old stuff. She found this GameBoy. He said it's not even his; that was someone's from a long time ago. Whatever she could sell it for would be fine with him. That's how I got it, haha.

It was just sitting in his closet, in its box, almost never played for decades.

It looks amazing. Practically brand new. Only problem is that the screen has quite a few columns of pixels that don't work. I'm not sure if the ribbon is loose or if the screen is junked. I don't really want to mod this one, given its condition.

Also, there's a proof of purchase on the box. The purchase date was the day after I was born. Crazy!

Should be an easy fix with a soldering iron, just search for "gameboy vertical line fix".

Yeah, someone else told me the same. I'll definitely make an attempt to fix it once I buy a new soldering iron.

It's good to know it's not that big of a deal to fix.
Vertical lines are a easy fix. Horizontal lines can be fixed but most of the time you'll do more damage.

But thats a nice near mint gameboy.

Curious if you've got enough systems to try all these chips in, or if you're just collecting?
I am also collecting too, because these chips aren't produced anymore and I'd love to have a neat collection.

ZeroT21 @ ZeroT21: Wasn't Metroid Prime 4 teased all the way back in 2017? For the switch no less? :rofl2:
