Biggest flaw in this game were the flat characters, ESPECIALLY Ethan. He had no personality whatsoever. "Oh, my friend died again. I will go create a time portal and stop that from happening." x 100. Concept was cool, but the plot/characters definitely let it down. So I guess I agree with your review.
Might also add that I've played quite a few point-and-click adventures, and there were so many in the old days that were creative, hilarious and had a compelling plot. Time Hollow seems pretty weak compared to them, except for the nice graphical presentation. Which is why I think it doesn't deserve a high score either, such as some posters believe.
