Sure, if truer blacks, no IPS glow, higher brightness, and lower power consumption isn't something that you desire, then TN panels are crappy.

Right...... Because shit narrow viewing angles, poor 3D viewing, washed out colors and grayish blacks are just Soooo much better

3d is the same on both. How often are you looking at your 3ds from the side? Colors wash out at angles not dead on. It's all opinion. TN has advantages over ips and vice versa.

Probably both, depending on the factory it came from.
If in doubt, Google the first six alphanums of the serial.

Ok thanks for your answer. I'm going to order one on Amazon.de when it's avaliable again. This Edition seems to be really liked because it was sold out at amazon in just a few minutes after it was listed again for delivery on 03.01.2017

Ok thanks for your answer. Yesterday a few consoles were avaliable and i managed to order one from Amazon for 215€ which is a good price compared to other sellers prices.
It will be avaliable 03.01.17 and should be delivered on 05.01-07.01
Will report here which Displays are in it.
I also hope there is a 10.x Firmware on it so Homebrew can be easily be done

Homebrew can easily be done on 11.0 and with safehax you do not need to downgrade.

Ok looked at the guide to a9lh and it seems that only for 11.2 is hardmod required, from 9.0.0 to 11.1 you can now do it with the help of soundhax, safehax and waithax. Sounds great

You can use Safehax with 11.2 when fasthax comes out later today.

Got the New 3DS XL a month back from target and 3Dsident says both TN... I hardmodded it, otherwise would have tried getting a replacement (subjected to availability ofcourse)!

All the new January 2017 ones that I checked from Target are top IPS, so if you are looking that's a good bet.
