SSB is an oddly popular series. I guess it's just because it's a fighter that everybody can get into and be good at, unlike those like Dead or Alive or Street Fighter, where effort needs to be put forth to a fairly high degree to be able to compete. That and SSB incorporates pretty much every Nintendo icon into one game. That is pretty much instant love for a lot of people.
I can understand the feeling and hype that goes with it, I just don't feel it myself.
Anyways, yeah, yeah, the game!
Revelations does look like it will live up to the RE name while showing substantial effort on part of the developers. I did say somewhere back on the first page that the game looks like it's going to be pretty good judging by the trailer and such. I wonder what direction they're going to go. This could be a great opportunity to dip back into the RE roots a little, while incorporating more of their modern gameplay elements introduced in 4 and 5.
