Just wondering, do Americans use the word 'trump' with the same meaning as us Brits? Here it means, among other things, 'fart'.

No in America Trump means 'God'.
I'm watching the final debate right now. He's blatantly lying about so many things. If any criticism is levelled at him, his standard response seems to be "Well Bill Clinton was much worse". Um, I don't think Bill Clinton is running for President so I don't see how that's relevant to anything.
