He means he has read that emunand is possible for firmwares that have a kernel exploit,

I always thought that you needed trustzone for emunand

it makes it a shit ton easier, like from what they've seen emunand kills itself when going into and exiting sleep mode and just other things like that. and sciresm himself said that he is gonna work on emunand for tz first, then see about cfw on kernel but it'll be really hard to get to work

Updated it to 3.0.0 a while ago

Now I feel sick for updating my newly bought 2.3.0 Switch to 3.0.0 before Christmas as everyone here was telling me that it's the "golden firmware" for now.

That's why you get the means to update (Pokken), but don't do so until there's something worthwile released. Haven't touched my 2.3.0 console since I bought it.

Not impossible, but they certainly won't be common. Though they should be more common than 1.0.0 at least.

I actually bought a 2.3 in fnac belgium last weekend. Opened it up to find it had a dead pixel so decided to return it. To my surprise the replacement they gave me actually had 2.3 aswell.
