Hacking uLOADER 1.6 - usb loader with USB support!!!

Hi All,

I have read a lot on various posts on various forums and I have a small question which I have not been able to reconcile:

I have cIOS249 installed and working beautifully with USB Loader GX, my question is: if I install Hermes 222/223 and uLoader, can the two live together? Will all my previous games work as well as it did with cIOS249?

I once tried it and got a -1017 error.
I need it for Rock Band 2.

Hello to all
Well got the new version working except for the forwarder channel it wont install,I can get it to run from HBC but I wll not install as a channnel. And loadstructor just uses ISOs to make the WADs.
Any ideas?

I know this isn't really the thread to ask but since so few people seem to use uLoader in the main forums.

has anyone managed to get Wii Sports Resort to work.

I have PAL Wii on Waninkoko 4.1E system menu, I downloaded the PAL version. I extracted the player.dol file and renamed it to RZTP01.dol which is the disc's game ID, but uLoader never seems to load the alt dol, when I play Medal Of Honor I can see it saying loading alternative.dol but with Wii Sports Resort it never does this and the game just resets my wii back to the system menu. I have Wii Motion Plus add on connected to my wiimote and am using uLoader 2.7 with the new cios 222 that was released.

Any help appreciated, as I'm really not quite sure what I have done wrong here.

EDIT: Helps if I read the new readme file, new way of doing it, and much much better than the old one. Hermes is a genius.

I personally do not use Uloader (I use USBLoaderCFG with using cIOS222 option) but I do use the latest cIOS222 and 223 v3. Very nice! Works great and works with all of my games. Nice, fast loading as well! Great work!

What other features have you added to your version over the official version? Does it have alt.dol on disc support and/or faster menu loading?

I see the benefit in that, but that is just WAY to intrusive for my tastes.

I'd like to know the answer to this too.

I am trying to install v3.0 and don't know which IOS to select on the initial screen of the install.

UPDATED: I installed CIOS 222 and 223 (chose IOS 36 for the "install to" for both... and for the CIOS 222 install: chose IOS 36 and for the CIOS 223 and chose IOS 38 merged with 37). It successfully installed. I use Configurable USB Loader (love it!) and when I chose to play Rock Band, I selected it to load the CIOS 223. Now I can play my Rock Band instruments off the USB port 1 (I think... the port towards the middle of the Wii) and have my hard drive plugged into Port 0 (the one closest to the edge of the Wii).
