USB Loader GX Not Loading Games Anymore

Hey everyone, this is my first post here so apologies if I've done anything wrong here.

Like some others here have posted, I'm suffering from a sudden malfunction of USB Loader GX, and don't know what's causing the issue.

I've got a 32GB Lexar JumpDrive TwistTurn2 USB 2.0 formatted to FAT32, and it's got only 43MB remaining space on it if that matters.
Transferring files to that drive on a M1 Mac takes around 15 seconds for files as small as even 4MB, just in case that's indicative of anything.

In October 2022 everything was working just fine, but I just booted it up yesterday and suddenly the games load into black screens.
My Wiimote will also disconnect when the black screens come up, and the games either don't boot up, or they take 5+ minutes per load screen to get to the game's start screen.

Also the artworks were missing for the first time and had to be re-downloaded.

I've overwritten my CIOS on the new d2x-v11-beta1 according to the guide — didn't solve anything.
USB Loader GX is fully updated to the newest version available, which I did by overwriting the /apps/usbloader_gx folder on my USB drive.

I ran a system check just in case it's helpful to diagnose what's going on.

Not saying that it's your problem, but this sounds like corrupted MBR sector.

Try reformatting your drive with software capable of "restoring" MBR sectors and try again.

Let us know if that worked.

To me it's something to consider. Saving games adds to data stored. Try & have 10X more empty space, than you have now. Sometimes, games saves to the SD card. Just keep it in mind

You're going to scoff at me, but I'm on a Mac using OS X Ventura 13.5 — so my only option "Disk Utility" doesn't have an option to put an MBR partition on the drive. I reformatted it just to try and put one game on there but it's not being recognized. I've also tried loading games from the SDHC with a wbfs folder, and those games crash on loading, and my Wiimote disconnects.

Could it be worth just picking up a WD 1TB external HDD and putting all games on there, while keeping all my apps and everything else on my SDHC card?

To me it's something to consider. Saving games adds to data stored. Try & have 10X more empty space, than you have now. Sometimes, games saves to the SD card. Just keep it in mind

I'd aim for at least a 2tb USB HDD
You can also use the larger capacity sdxc (micros or normals) . I successfully used a 512gb micro sdxc.
