So I am thinking of doing for same for the xbox series x but let's start with the original xbox one from 2015. So the internal hard drive is connected via sata 2 to an sata 3 adapter, since sata is connected to the board it's sata 2 speeds. Now the xbox one has 3 usb 3.0 ports, according to Google USB 3.0 (also known as SuperSpeed USB) has a maximum bandwidth rate of 5 gbps (gigabits per second). That translates to 640 MBps (megabytes per second)—ten times faster than USB 2.0 (aka Hi-Speed USB). So I have the crucial SSD mx300 that goes like 560mbps read/write speed. So going back to the question, I have usb 3.0 to sata 3 adapter with this ssd plugged into an usb 3.0 port of the xbox. Are the games being loaded at that full hard drive speed? Same can be done for the series x as it has usb 3.0 speed which supports 10 gbps and ps5 type c supports 20gbps
