I was talking to the TC, I don't really follow this topic cause it's way too big and kind of impossible to follow.
Where can I download PAL, NTSC and NTSC-J up to date covers for this loader and up to date, RENAMED disc images?
There's a link to a topic in the first post but the disc cover images there all need to be renamed and the link with pre-renamed disc covers in one of the posts is probably out of date and I don't even know if it's a complete set.

sorry, everything is kind of a mess with this loader and I want it because of the awesome GUI

look at signature of third post on the cover and disk art thread here
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=150...=0#entry1923363
has two disk art pack, and three regions of compatible and named cover arts

i am getting a memory dump when enabling and disabling the ab121b at random times
it did it in version 169 and 170

can we have it where we can choose in a config to either enable it or leave it off please?

I was having the same problem with 170 as well. Didn't try 169 as 170 came out before I had the chance to try it.

It would be nice to disable it through a config, or have it saved when you disabled it so you don't always have to do it.

Now my images show up, but they have a square around them. This applies to the 3D covers and the disc images. It's supposed to be transparent, but I get a white square. Here are some pictures:

EDIT: Never mind. Figured it out

I have square on disc images too, how did you fix it ?

Download the disc pack here: http://rapidshare.com/files/225505138/499_...art_160x160.zip. They're made so they're transparent around the edges and in the hole in the middle

Rev171 won't compile. This rev fixed the problem
r171
Optimized memory usage.
mirror 172 -> (Here I'll also upload future compiles ;-)

Here is my version where you can set the covers folder
r172+covers_path

make sure you read this to see how it works

for the other available settings (the officials) check this

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
