Venom Nintendo Switch Carrying Case Official GBAtemp Review

review_banner_venom_switch_carry_case.jpg

Nintendo Switch cases come in different shapes, sizes, and price. For example, for a ridiculously cheap price, you can get a case designed to hold only the Switch console. For larger loads, though, you'll have to pay a little more. Prans recently looked at the expensive but stylish Switch case by Waterfield Designs, but today I'll be looking at something cheaper. The Venom Carry Case, for only £19.99, can carry your Pro Controller, Dock, Switch, and more! It sounds good in theory, but how does it hold up in everyday use?

I still don't get it.
All I ever need is case just for the switch and portable dock. What else do you need?
When you put it like that, I'd love to see a Switch case that is actually a dock as well. I imagine it'd be horrible to make in a way that doesn't damage the USB-C port of the Switch though.

Anyway, for £20 this case looks a lot better than I'd have thought lol. Hard to compare it against some of the other cases on the site when they cost so much more. I guess it does the job well enough.

It's just to brag and show off "I have a Nintendo Switch, everyone!".

Nintendo made the dock unnecessarily big and wide when it could have been pretty darn small and compact. I bought a small mini-dock and it works just like the big one by Nintendo, except it takes no space whatsoever.

The rumors about bricking the console always seemed like bs to me since it didn't happen and I used it a ton of times. I'm not using my Switch much nowadays and saving it for a friend otherwise would have sold it off, can't honestly be bothered with the hacking stuff. If only it was like PSP hacking.
