I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14IGL7 with Ubuntu 22.04.3 installed.

Tried to use VirtualBox earlier to emulate the Windows XP operating system, when all of a sudden:

This happened.
I have Intel Virtualization turned on and Secure Boot disabled from the BIOS. Anyway I can fix this?

How did you install virtual box? Did you get the installer directly from virtualbox.org?

The Ubuntu repo likely has an older version, a common issue.

Logged into the Terminal as ROOT and ran the command "apt install virtualbox-ext-pack". Seems to be working, just stuck here.
What do I do?

You should'nt need to login as root, "sudo" should be enough.

I installed VirtualBox through the .deb package from their official website.
And the command didn't work until I logged in as ROOT.
But, I'm stuck here now:

Any idea what I could do?

EDIT: Never mind, I had to use the arrow keys to select "<Ok>".

You should not need to log into the root acoount, that is what sudo is for (Super User DO).

I've install Ubuntu on a VM, all I had to do was run "sudo apt install virtualbox-ext-pack" and it worked from my regular account.

On this screen press the tab key and when "ok" is highlighted and press the enter key. On the next screen do the same but for "yes".

edit:

Did you make sure to install "gcc make perl" per the post? If not this may fail.

I don't remember installing "ggc make perl," but it's still working regardless.
