I have Wii U on 5.5.4 firmware with Haxchi installed & I want to know if hacking vwii is possible or not because all the guides that i was able to find are for 5.5.1 firmware. Thanks in advance

Just use wuphax or the compat installer homebrew (the FW of your WiiU is not relevant for vWii Modding):

No, you don't necessarily need Tiramisu/Aroma ......but it still makes more sense to switch to Tiramisu/Aroma because they have more features and are still being developed.

Wiiuhack's guide also has a section that tells you how to uninstall Haxchi etc.
If you are not interested in the new features, you can stay on haxchi
