Gaming Warcraft III and WCIII: The Frozen Throne for MAC

Hi,

One of my friends is going to get a MAC since he's going to study graphic design and it's kinda required in the place he's going to, but he's going to miss dota games a great deal, so... I was wondering what's the best place to find this game along with the expansion for MAC, shipping to Spain for a good price. Anyone can help?

Regardless of where you get the CD(s) it works on both PC and mac.

Find it at a used game shop, Ebay, Amazon, or just buy from from Blizzard.com

I suggest the latter because otherwise you'll end up with a disabled/used CD-Key and your friend won't be able to play DotA.

As of the latest patch, you don't even need the CD to play the game, you just need it for install. But yes, the most important thing is the CD-key. You can easy get a generated one for single player but you have to buy the full game to get one for online multiplayer.

Yepp, I knew about the latest patch. I'll need a cdkey anyway so I guess I'll go and get the cheapest copy I can find out there! Thanks guys

Yeah, even World of WarCraft works on a Mac which is awesome. You need your own copy though in order to play it, which prevents multiboxing though. You can still lend someone the install discs but they are going to be boned without a CD key to play on the regular servers
