So, I had been wanting to play the Wii Ware Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games and had been wondering how I would do that... but I came across some Wii U channel forwarders which let you play the games on/with the Wii U gamepad but also bypass region lock which is a problem since vWii on Wii U does not let you break region lock as far as I know since Priiloader does not work.
While I cannot provide the link to where I got the Channel Forwarders since they also provide the pre-patched games... I have uplaoded them myself to media fire which do not contain any of the game files just the forwarders.
If there is any issue with this please let me know and I will take the link off my post, but I wanted to let people know about this so that they can enjoy these games without going through much hassle especially considering some people like me may not have a Wii and a Wii U is the only option.

PMD Wii Ware Channel Forwarders

I was so excited to find out this worked so I hope you all enjoy this and know I did not do the work for any of this and any credit goes to the people who made the games, the fan translation and the channel forwarders!

PS: I do not own a EU or JP Wii U so I do not know if it works on those, I've only tested an NA/USA console.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, my PC can't run most AAA games so i wont

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
