I upgraded firmware of our Pioneer DVR-216 DVD Writer to 1.09 (latest), then I created an image of a burned copy of CoD4 with XBCr with its default settings. Then I used ABGX360 to fully patch it and finally used ImgBurn to burn it at 2.4x on my T-Gate DVD+R but it failed at 7% returning "verification failed" and it wasted my disc.

What did I do wroang?

with the same setting? its scary since blanks are expensive.

I tried another Pioneer (which I don't remember the model) but it even failed at creating backups.

Are programs that I'm using the correct ones? What setting should I put XBCr in?

have you regular backups from the internet worked before?

I obtain my backups online, I haven't made actually backups before (so I cant really answer your question on creating personal backups)
and burn them with imgburn @ 2.4x with the .dvd file (the dvd file says to put the LB at 1913760 when burn the disk)

I'm not trying to make a backup, I'm trying to duplicate a burned backup disc.

QUOTE(Crass @ Aug 19 2009, 10:03 AM) Try burning the disc at a slower speed.

I originally did at 2.4.
