Mine would have to be Super Smash Bros/SSB Melee. I know my SSBM total play time is in the 450 hour range and SSB but played just as much. Man, i miss when all my friends lived 5 minutes away from me. Now college has spread us apart and I have no challenge in SSBM anymore....

Honestly, it's probably Starcraft. For the first two years of college, I'd pretty much play that game all day long once classes ended. I had a few hundred wins easy on my record, and that's going to be several hundred hours of playtime right there.

Another great time sucker is Tetris. Tetrinet 2 on the PC, though, is what did it for me the most. Being able to play tetris against other players online. The hours melt away.

Must have been the Pokemon Silver that Nintendo sent me for free. (STILL haven't figured out the reason...) Damn, they sure made their money back from that one, I would never have gotten into the handheld scene that much if it wasn't for that cartridge... I think I clocked about 150 hours but I had played the Japanese and English version (fan translated) on an emulator before that. That's probably another 50 hours at least, I was into map editing etc. a lot.

if i had to pick just one, i think i'd have to go with Chrono Trigger on the SNES. i'd have to look to be sure, but i spent at least 300 hours on that one back in the day. more recently, i've logged 120 hours so far on Final Fantasy XII.

If I should make a full list I will be here all night but here is one game per console
c64 toobin
NES: tetris2
Master System: alex the kid
Megadrive/Genesis: Bomberman
SNES: rampart
PS1: Pick a Square (Enix) game and it is likely I played for a while.
Dreamcast: Phantasy Star Ep1 (the reason I have not touched an mmo since)
N64: Up until 3 years ago long sessions on perfect dark happened multiple times a week.
PS2: GTA: Vice city, not a great game but oh so fun.
Xbox: Ninja Gaiden black
PC: This one is the hardest of all but Deus Ex, multiplayer aside it takes quite a game to make me pick it up again and this is one of the few that managed it.
Cube: Resident evil 4, played through that a few times.
DS: Advance Wars
GBA: Advance Wars
GBC: Bugs Bunny Crazy castle 5 I think it was.

I have no Wii, PS3 or 360 of my own (I only saw a PS3 for the first time 2 weeks ago) so they are out.

I can't really tell since most of my games didn't have a counter on them....
However I do recall playing Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis on my GBA for 64 hours (to get one of the finales).

Warcraft III and StarCraft have probably taken up 300+ hours of mine. My Final Fantasy Tactics Advance has well over 100 hours in it. Tetris Attack, Tetris, and Pokemon Blue are high up there too. I should probably check my games for their play time

. Portable games - much easier to rank up higher playtime on than consoles. As for games I've played the most with friends, Street Fighter II Turbo and Super Smash Bros./Melee top the list.
