I visited my little cousin this Summer.
She never played any Nintendo Console, and we played a few hours of Nintendo Switch in the 2 Days we stayed at my aunts house.

Well, It annoyed me that she always would play these trashy mobile games where you color a panda or dress a Giraffe.
So I thought why not buy her something, also I wanna make her a Nintendo Fangirl.

Well, now I bought her a New 2ds XL, a Switch would have a been probably too much ^_^.

Now I wanna fill this thing up to the top with Games, I will load it up with Zelda Mario Kart Lego, all the classic stuff that we know.

But I wondered If you guys maybe know some games that she would enjoy?
She does actually like horses, maybe there is a game you can recommend.
Any Recommendation is welcome!

i would recommend New Style Boutique, it's a perfect game for girl.

And if she's from a Catholic family, i would recommend Binding of Isaac, a Magnificent game to teach kids God's love and religion!
Hahaha yeah actually catholic but I don't know about that tho XDD

Really? For a 7 Year old? Those games ESRB rating (or PEGI I assume from where they from) aren't even even for that age.
I mean Dark Souls should be known by all, also what about your suggestions? :D
also another suggestion on my end would be pokemon games (especially the gba ones) and also I remember loving my sonic rush ds game as a kid sonic is a good one :D

I'm not saying she shouldn't know it, only that it's rated mature by ESRB (Pegi) and she only 7

Any Mario game on switch would do enough.
  • New Super Mario bros deluxe
  • Mario kart 8 Deluxe
  • Super Mario Odyssey
  • Mario maker 2.
  • Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze
  • Sonic Mania.
  • Mega man 11 (or legacy collection)
  • Any of the many compilation games except they aren't actually nintendo games (Sega classics, Namco Museum, ect)

Those last few may not be made by nintendo but they play on a switch. Though if you want nintendo only stuff i guess you have plenty of options. Most people may avoid suggesting games that is too easy, or takes no effort to beat and is short or whatever "anti serious professional gamer" such context. But people forget that for people who don't commonly play games are looking for something like those i described to be entry level starters. Be easy to understand, pick up and play. But the gap to be better is always out of reach. That allows someone to start out having fun and get more fun if they want to continue playing. Is different that having the fun placed about the game at specific parts and relies on the player entirely to get those moments.

If that makes sense. :ninja:

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
