EmuNAND is an outdated method of loading/running CFW that would protect the system from bricking. B9S and Luma made it obsolete.
It creates a second SysNand on your SD card and used to be used to have guaranteed CFW on the latest firmware. This is something you could've googled...

It is useful if you want to tinker in your SysNAND (like translating it) without the possibility of destroying it (thus making your console unbootable - brick).
Otherwise useless.
