As far as i read, i cannot figure out why it's not recommended to update the Switch to latests system update.
I mean, SX OS will be available and work on every firmware right ? The FAQ says it will never be patched.
Other side, if i stay on 3.0.0, i will not be able to play backups that need a more recent update.
Also I do not have the SDXC update, so the manipulation to make it available, are very more complicated than a simple update.
What do i lost if i update ? As far as i know : coldboot ?
Does this mean i only need a jig and fusee gelee again to start my console ? Ok but Xecuter sell a dongle to do that, and it's seems not to be a big deal.
And if i'm not wrong, it's not needed when your switch is only in a sleep mode.
And (!) there is plenty of methods to make it easier : https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-ultimate-list-of-mods-to-enter-rcm.502145/
So i really want to know what are the pros of keeping a switch on old firmwares.
I'm a bit lost.
