Celeste (just replaying B-sides or C-sides), any Mario Tennis game (I pretty much rotate through them, with Mario's Tennis being my current fever thanks to Red Viper), Rocket League, Smash 4 on 3DS.

There are a few others that come close, but ultimately these are my go-to when I just need to tune off from brain noise haha. Preferably played in a portable device.

Mirrors edge (both OG and catalyst). world setting of this game, being detached from noisy city widens scope of how I look at everyday life, and overlooking NPCs go on their daily lives makes them appear tiny and insignificant, and I realize almost nothing is worth being anxious over in life, and it inspires me to be mindful and enjoy present moment.

EDIT : to lesser extent, Watch dogs 1 too. Taking a walk in rainy Chicago with "Califone - funeral singers" playing in background is soothing too. worth mentioning that I was not part of hype train leading up to its release because I was not following gaming news at time and just bought game because I liked cover (lol), and since I had no high expectations I enjoyed game for what it was.

For me, it's Gadget Racers (US) (!) on the GBA and King's Bounty on the Genesis. I've completed both games hundreds of times by now. King's Bounty is great because the scepter is in a different location each time you play. Sadly, the second Kings Bounty is nothing like the first one.

Tears of The Kingdom is turning into a comfort game as well. Sometimes, I just build things or look for fucking Koroks and their over packed backpack. FFS guys, thats why you cant move. I'd travel by vehicle, horse (this is a vehicle?), or foot looking for those little bitches. I fight all along the way and my inventory is crazy, so I should probably upgrade my armor soon. I really like the fairies.

Right now I play a lot of Balatro and Into the Breach on my Switch Lite. Playing portable adds up to the comfort factor.

Mine is Pokémon Gen 3 games. The spoofer-hwid is a great tool which gamers enjoy for the reason that it features a plethora of benefits. It switches traffic meaning providing continuous gameplay without connection interruptions. With this mechanism, privacy is hence strengthened as identifying information is obscured, and the possibility of interception becomes less likely. The anonymity could be the key to play the games safely with no risk of being punished. It must be mentioned that, in the long run, this contributes to a smooth and safe environment in virtual reality.

My go-to comfort game has to be **Stardew Valley**. There's something incredibly soothing about the routine of tending to my farm, caring for my animals, and exploring the mines. The gentle soundtrack and the charming pixel art style create a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding after a long day. On days when I need a bit more action, I switch to **Minecraft**. Building and adventuring in my own world, at my own pace, allows me to relax and let my creativity flow. Both games offer a peaceful escape with no pressure, just pure enjoyment.

I have two different kind of comfort games, relaxing and simple action that I can play without thinking too much.

Relaxing:
- Cities skylines 1. My nr.1 relaxing game,
- Lucas arts point n' click.
-Zelda Alttp,OOT,WW
-Mario World SNES

Simple action:
-Doom 2
-Hotline Miami 2 (not easy, but the gameplay is so simple and addicting)
-Red alert 2 and C&C3

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I love it for most things most stores you just shows the receipt online and they scan it

Makes it easy for incompetent restaurant staff that don't know how to hear an order
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.
