Why aren't there any flashcarts for the Switch?

The only answer in that thread is excessively broad. The other replies are all about alternatives and one about hypothetical uses.
A Switch flashcart is literally impossible to make. Nintendo added a crazy amount of security to the cart slot that makes that completely impossible.
What features were added? How does it differ to their previous handhelds?

I'm sure there's a good technical reason why they're impossible but I don't know what it is.
Encryption. The communication with the game cart is encrypted and nobody has cracked the encryption.
The 3DS was similar, but that was eventually cracked with the Sky3DS. The 3DS was not exactly known for being the most secure, Nintendo beefed up the security a lot with the Switch.
It's likely that any flashcart would still require a hacked console to work which makes the whole thing rather pointless.
