cant find it either, can someone please post the filename from usenet
It should be fatal-swtfu. Can't find it, tho.

It's not in the usual two places, and nowhere else that I can find. There is a recent posting of Lego Star Wars though, that is maybe what that other guy saw.

yeah, still not on usenet. cool private tracker already have it though.

Assuming private trackers have scene/topsite access - they should get it at the same time, if not faster than usenet. Which means private trackers ftw!

um correct me if i'm wrong, but shouldn't u guys NOT be talking about illegial trackers, roms and such so openly? o.O

There's no rule against talking about them. Just no asking or posting links. I mean, this site is filled with scene/rom news... why wouldn't we talk about it?!

I played it a bit and I must say I'm really impressed with the graphics engine... It looks really cool and many times I forget I'm playing a Wii game here. Controls are still a bit confusing sometimes, especially when you walk into an area with many enemies I sometimes don't know what to do. I also think it's a bit difficult to throw something to kill an enemy.

But overall this game looks beautiful and plays great, especially when you're a Star Wars fan this is the closest to being a real Jedi!

Could someone PM me just their main.dol , or a link to it? I think i just f*cked it up trying to patch it to PAL.
(My capture card only displays black&white if i set my wii to 480i :-( )

EDIT: NVM, got it

Also, beware, i think the game updates to 3.3, the update screen was displayed in my system menu when i inserted the disc.

Wtf? I only did a brickblock and it worked wonderfully on my Pal Wii (with Wiikey)

Yeah, but because my capture card only displays b/w for NTSC games (i think it's because it doesn't work with 480i), i tried to force a PAL mode (576i) with WiiFrii, and i think i fucked the main.dol up (i was an idiot and did not backup it up).

Then i tried Running it via GeckoOS with different settings (did not brickblock it, only ran wiifrii), and it seems to crash. (no output, no sound, wiimote off)

Now im stuck with 4GB+ of worthless data until i replace the main.dol file :-(

Spoke to Tom Fulp the other day, if he can find his old Newgrounds site content like the mini Flash animations from the 2000's that played on the portal.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
So far no response, but he did say that he'll find them. Wayback Machine doesn't have em.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, atleast the 1999 versión of pico's school is avaliable (the difference between it, the 2006 versión and the 2016 versión is that the speed of the game depends of the speed of your computer and that it had the og soundtrack)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Another being Pico VS Bear, the original 1999 version before Jim Henson filed a DMCA takedown.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
The 2006 versión was made when the flash portal was made
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Many people thought it was lost, but was discovered that he hid it on the same page.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, although the "secrets" system where the game was has been removed. Also pico vs uberkids had a netplay versión that was shutdown, although the swf file has been found
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Nope. There are two download buttons on the same page, where you can download the original under a file called "bear.exe". "bear2.exe", however, is the updated game in a Flash projector. P.s. this was on the archived Pico page from 2000.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's been there for a long time, too. People who search for lost media don't look hard enough lmao.

@SylverReZ, also the pico 2 demos used to be only for the newgrounds patrons but they are on internet archive too (https://archive.org/download/picos_school_2)

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Iirc the demos were removed from newgrounds in 2022
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, or well only the demo with mindchamber's style was on newgrounds

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Fun fact @SylverReZ: iirc one of the goals on the fnf Kickstarter stated that pico 2 would be finished but the Kickstarter didnt get enough money for that goal to be fullfiled
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, FNF sucks, their community is toxic as hell.

@SylverReZ its a single player game
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, Yea but it has a shitton of mods with their own songs and stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, and quite a lot of people involved in those mods get cancelled
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Newgrounds wasn't the birth of FNF; rather, it was games where you beat up celebrities and parodies.
