I have a Wii with a D2C Pro Modchip installed and although the Wii has been working fine over the last few years, recently the Wii disc slot has begun to accept discs at about half of the speed that it originally did. I am concerned that the disc drive may stop functioning properly, and i was wondering if there is anything that I can do to prevent this from happening. Thanks in advance for any advice and support you can give me.

My advice is switching to USB loading to prevent further damage to the drive if you're so concerned about it or alternatively replacing the drive.

I am using USB, but I would like to keep the disc slot functional. Do you know of any services that will help me replace it?
