Did I read the thread correctly that you went from a stock Wii to a fully loaded Wilfow console in two weeks minus some missing 3d cover art?
That's exactly how I did it on the Xbox of mine. I found a forum and made friends and after a year I helped my friend make a Castlevania pack for Coin-ops Premium. Very proud of it. It took 6 months to finalize it but very happy with the outcome.Yes, about three weeks. CFG Loader for Wii, USB Loader GX for GameCube and Wiiflow for Wiiware/VirtualConsole/Emulators (even the emuNand).
When i first asked, nobody answerd so i didn't want to bother the people too much and i went for it bit by bit everyday.
But if i (who knew nothing at all) can make it, other people can make it as well, i'm sure of that. The "secret" is determination my friend
DIOS-MIOS isn't needed for Nintendont to work. Also, the version included in the download is outdated and too slow to play with.Is there an updated tutorial somewhere for setting up the wiiflow mastermod? I really like the idea of having 1 loader to go into for all systems with boxart for snes, nes, gc, etc all in one spot. Looks awesome. I have "WiiFlow (v4.2.3) Nintendont MasterMod Pack Full 2016" downloaded but even the instructions in there talk about installing dios mios. Which shouldn't be necessary with nintendont, right? Can't seem to find an updated tutorial.
hey all im trying to make a perfect version of wiiflow using abz's mastermod as my base.
what im trying to do is update the retroarch from the version on the mastermod to the new 1.6.0 however when i replace plugins it loads but will not save settings as it can not locate where to save the config. i have tried everything i can think of but if any one here has any ideas please feel free to share
many thanks
somebody know WiiSXR arguments? WiiSX arguments is not working for WiiSXR for autoloading games from wiiflow plugin menu
Not sure if you've noticed but Ive pretty much posted the same problem about 2 posts ago . Im not a computer tech and have little understanding of the source codes, but I not sure it is as simple as altering the arguments path. When you load an incorrect path from the wiiSX plugin you get an error code and the system crashes, which could be an indicator that the {Loader} is working properly. WiiSXR just takes you to the emulator regardless of what you type in, even if the filepath is incorrect. Maybe the Magic Number needs changing? or the .dol file? Im not 100% sure. However like you I would very much love some light shed on the subject. Hopefully someone with an understanding in coding reads this or the creator himself , as I would love a solution.
Hi guys,
I have a quick question.
I separated my SD:\apps folder into
- SD:\apps - for system apps, loaders, etc.;
- SD:\apps_homebrew_games - for the homebrew games only.
So, I am currently launching system apps with forwarders or homebrew channel. I set up USBLoaderGX to launch homebrew games from SD:\apps_homebrew_games
Now, back to WiiFlow:
1.Is there a way in Wiiflow to specify custom path to the homebrew folder, as I would prefer it to point to "SD:\apps_homebrew_games"?
2. Or maybe there is a way in Wiiflow to create additional "Homebrew Games" separate source menu entry, which will be pointing to "SD:\apps_homebrew_games"?
Hey everybody, Is Abz still around ?

so far I have the homebrew channel and I installed d2x-v10-beta52-vWii and d2x-v10-beta53-alt-vWii using d2x cIOS Installer Mod v2.2
I haven't seen Abz in a while but that doesn't mean anything.
If you do not need to use both USB ports on your Wii for HDDs then beta53 isn't recommended. That is the only feature it has that beta52 doesn't (other than plug-n-play) and it has compatibility issues.
so I should install 52 in 249 and 250 ?
